New self-consumption photovoltaic plant by Gamma

  • Gamma Solutions completes self-consumption photovoltaic in puertollano

The execution of the 100kWn photovoltaic plant includes a total of 432 installed panels that provide self-consumption to the building and recharge the battery bank, as well as the utilization of direct current energy for research processes. Innovative measures include a surveillance system with direct connection to the central building and a spectacular monitoring system, designed by the R&D department of Gamma Solutions, for the analysis and control of energy production.

This monitoring system ensures that energy production is always lower than consumption, avoiding any excess power being fed back into the grid. Additionally, a weather control system will be installed to analyze the relationship between energy production and environmental conditions.

The project, which began on December 15th, meets the execution deadlines, making the National Hydrogen Center one of the most advanced installations in terms of renewable energy, serving as an example of a self-sufficient installation for other entities at a national level.

In February, the R&D and Energy department visited to verify that the renewable energy installation of almost 500 panels, with an annual energy generated of 174,548 kWh, is operating optimally.
