Madrid, September 5, 2023 – Wenea, a leading independent provider of electric vehicle charging services, will once again be present at the eighth edition of the Electric Vehicle Fair, VEM2023, which will take place on September 8th, 9th, and 10th at Colón Square in the capital.
With over 1,000 charging points in Spain and the United Kingdom, with power capacities of up to 300 kW, the company will be among the more than 60 exhibitors in the mobility ecosystem attending the event to showcase their charging network, ensuring the broadest coverage in the Spanish market.
During the fair, Wenea will introduce its mobility solutions and the various charging services it offers at stands C27 and C28. Additionally, they will provide a landing page accessible through a QR code, allowing interested parties to delve into the details of the services offered for electric vehicle fleets, one of the company’s business lines.
One of this year’s main highlights is that Wenea’s booth will feature a Škoda Enyaq iV replica of La Vuelta race director’s vehicle. This will enable all attendees to explore its interior and discover how it operates. Through this sponsorship, Wenea aims to showcase its success in the competition and demonstrate its ability to provide power no matter the challenge or location, solidifying its position as a leader in electric vehicle fleet charging services.

For the second consecutive year, Wenea returns as the official provider of La Vuelta, which is currently underway and will last until September 17th. Following the success of 2022, where the Škoda Enyaq race director vehicles covered over 6,500 km with Wenea’s charging support, we demonstrated the extensive coverage and reliability that the company’s charging network provides. Škoda’s electric SUV serves as the mobile control center for the race director and is also exhibited at all stages of the race.
This achievement was made possible thanks to Wenea’s extensive charging network distributed throughout Spain and its portable charging solutions, which ensured the charging of the electric vehicles accompanying the peloton.
Above all, the primary objective of this partnership is to continue supporting the race’s transition to decarbonization and promote electric mobility in a globally recognized sporting event.
